There is a solution for those who love the Scandinavian style and want to see wooden motifs everywhere. These are Fundermax table tops in the exquisite decor FH 0048. The pattern of this decor is as close as possible to a cut of wood, so it is very difficult to notice the difference with the naked eye. The modern bathroom design by MEBLENS is a perfect example of this.
In this design, the countertop and shelves are made of HPL. The standard thickness of HPL board is 12 mm. But for this design we needed a more weighty structure. Therefore, in order to acquire "massiveness" it was decided to "splice" the plates by cutting at 45 degrees. This technique allowed to achieve the desired 4 cm.
So, there is a pattern of wood, color and even thickness. So why not choose the wood itself? It's simple, HPL-tables have better characteristics than wood. They are moisture resistant and not afraid of temperature changes, which are extremely important indicators for the bathroom.
HPL countertops are not afraid of stains, scratches or chips. There are no fingerprints on the surface, and its care is as simple as possible. It is nice that ordinary detergents that are at hand are suitable for washing the countertop.
This bathroom decoration looks great and creates additional space for storing all sorts of little things.
