Office furniture
The furniture industry is one of the main areas of application of HPL plastic and Fundermax panelsHPL furniture plastic is a modern, environmentally friendly finishing material characterized by high impact resistance, resistance to abrasion, hot detergents, oils, gasoline, weak acids and alkalis.

The total number of combinations of decors and surface textures of furniture plastics is able to provide almost any style tasks in furniture production and interior decoration. Designers and technologists get unique opportunities that have no analogues among other materials. The top decorative layer can have a glossy or matte surface and be made in a variety of colors - from the popular “stone” and “wood” to fantasy decors. This plastic has a non-porous structure, which explains its resistance to stains, it is easy to clean, disinfected and easy to process.

Fundermax materials for the furniture industry are divided into two types: thin laminates up to 2.0 mm and panels from 2 mm to 20 mm.
Thin plastic is used for laminating MDF, chipboard, plywood, furniture board. Hot and cold presses are used for lamination under conditions of special furniture production. 3M, Forbo and other PVA-based adhesives are used. Most of the Fundermax plastics with a thickness of 0.8 mm lend themselves to postforming, i.e. bending at temperature, usually using a special hair dryer. This avoids edging, i.e. gluing special edging to the ends of laminated panels, which often come off when wet. In postforming, the plastic can be bent to give it the desired shape.

HPL Fundermax worktops and window sills for offices are low maintenance, hardwearing and durable, available in a variety of decor options. The maximum size of the table top, when using thin plastic Fundermax, can be 4100 x 1300 mm.
A separate direction in the use of HPL Fundermax in the furniture industry is the use of compact laminate, i.e. panels that do not need to be glued on a base of MDF or chipboard, but are themselves this base. This allows to avoid technologically complicated processes of lamination under the press and increase the service life of furniture due to greater resistance to moisture and mechanical stress. It is an indispensable material for countertops in cafes and restaurants with a large flow of people, such as McDonald's and KFC, as well as office premises. Worktops made of Fundermax panels from 10 to 20 mm do not require edging, which can be easily damaged under heavy use. Another advantage is the possibility of milling on the surface of the furniture, e.g. branding or decorative elements on tabletops. This feature is widely used in the offices of large companies and corporations.

A separate advantage of using office furniture made of HPL panels Fundermax is the freedom to realize almost any design solution. Bent elements, perforated details, the ability to cut out any unusual shape, more than 300 decors and 20 panel thicknesses will allow you to realize thousands of ideas for office furnishings.
